A New Spin on Social Networking for Physicians

Anyone out there using iMedExchange? It certainly has a Web 2.0 look about it. Includes not only videos, blogs and career opportunites but encourages exchanges between physicians on practice management, clinical issues and some personal issues, such as, vacations. It  designed and supported by a team of Seattle-based technology, business and healthcare experts and is advertising for regional network physicians to promote online meetings.
Looks like an inviting concept. It joins a growing field of sites similar to Sermo.

    greetings to all,
i am using imedexchange. this is the most exciting and original concept yet in the health care web industry. it is a site for physicians and by physicians. yes, it is being started by non physicians, but physicians have been involved from the start in terms of how to set up this website and what content will be on it. professional, personal or just plain communication, this site will have it all for us physicians. imedexchange's current project asks for physicians to videotape questions that will then be asked to the presidential candidates at the upcoming debate sponsored by youtube!!! this is great involvement and a wonderful forum for us to be heard. even in its infancy, imedexchange promises to be about physicians for physicians.
