Hi John,

I couldn't agree with you more about the value of social bookmarking. I migrated my bookmarks from Delicious to Diigo a couple of years ago when Yahoo announced they were selling Delicious and it was unclear what would happen.

While I liked Delicious, I find Diigo has a lot of extra features that are quite useful. One of the most useful is the one which automatically bookmarks Tweets you favorite.

I will check out your bookmarks on Delicious (since I did keep my account open). I have also enjoyed reading your blog bposts on Healthworks Collective.

Interesting predictions John. I wonder if you for see any PHRs putting out better APIs to allow web/mobile apps to send data to them. For example similar to how WiThings BP cuff can send MIcrosoft Health Vault your data.

Hi there,
I too have read that article and I think now the debate whether electronic medical records are useful or not will subside in favor of them. The only problem that is currently holding back the wide spread use of this technology is the expensive costs of installing the software and training the employees at using them.
I wanted to let you know about I Had Cancer (ihadcancer.com).
Cancer will affect 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women respectively.I Had Cancer (ihadcancer.com) is
going to help these people connect with one another based on their experiences with this disease. It is a new, free, social support network for anyone touched by cancer - supporters, fighters and survivors. You can check out our video here:
http://www.youtube.com/user/ihadcancer#p/u/0/iFYTZaVGZLc.

What makes I Had Cancer unique is the simplicity of the site layout and the ease of connecting with others. You can search the user community by age, gender, type of cancer, type of user, year of diagnosis and location. There are other interesting features on the site such as Dear Cancer, Circle News, Discussions, Blogging Journal
and more. Please either post or link to us on your publication. I can put you in contact with Mailet Lopez who is the founder of I Had Cancer and a breast cancer survivor herself, she will be able to answer any questions you may have. Please let me know if you would like to do that and if you would be willing to feature us. Thanks and
have a good one.

Hi John,
We're a policy mangement software vendor for hospitals and we're in the midst of deciding the next big development that our software should go in. Right now, it's looking like mobile health apps meets the greatest needs of hospitals in the United States. What are your thoughts on that?
Thanks,
Daisy

I think that Health Care mobile apps could potentially allow doctors to pull up and change a patients medical history without the current struggle of updating each computer individually. I am very interested to see how many EHRs begin to use these apps. Thanks for the post!
